Description
In Greek mythology Icarus used special construction resembling wings to fly. He ignored instructions not to fly too close to the sun, fell from the sky into the sea and drowned. His image became a metaphor for a person blinded by a dream who tends to ignore reality, his mistakes and the abyss into which he is about to fall.
